Vesuvius Media, the publisher behind Catapult Feud, has launched To Glory! on Kickstarter. Players assume the role of captains on pirate ships, searching for treasure while avoiding incoming cannonballs from hazards on the board and other players.
Designed by Stuart Ellis, To Glory! is a 2 to 4-player dexterity, pick-up-and-deliver game for ages 7 and up that plays in 20 to 45 minutes. Each player can move, steer, explore, and fire cannons. Victory points are awarded based on the result of the cannon volleys, including direct hits, landing on the target ship, or knocking the opponent captain overboard. Victory points can also be obtained by exploring islands and finding treasure.
“We loved creating Catapult Feud SO MUCH that we made another fun, dexterity game that’s perfect for family game night,” said Konstantinos Manos, CEO of Vesuvius Media. “This time, instead of launching boulders from catapults, you’re firing cannons off your pirate ship! The 3D ships, tower, and Kraken make an awesome impression on the table.”
The To Glory! Kickstarter campaign runs until May 12. The standard pledge ($45 USD) includes the core game and all applicable stretch goals. The deluxe edition pledge ($70 USD) includes the core game, 10 metal treasure chests, 50 metal coins, and all applicable stretch goals.
