The Best 1 & 2 Star Characters In Princess Connect! Re: Dive

Princess Connect! Re: Dive‘s global version came out this month, making the game accessible to a much bigger audience. Crunchyroll Games is publishing the global version on behalf of Cygames, and this version is a couple of years behind the Japanese one. Because of that, the character pool is much smaller, with a completely different meta.

New players are likely looking for great 1 and 2-star units to plug in while they build their collection. This guide will help players choose a few units that are great fillers for your party. Some of these characters are even better than a large chunk of the 3-star units, they just require some investment. Here are six great units that are fairly common while summoning.

    Yukari (1 Star)

Yukari is debatably the best unit on the list, and she is incredibly common thanks to her 1-star rarity. She will be a top meta pick for years to come, so she is worth investing in early. Yukari is capable of buffing, healing, and boosting TP, making her a dynamic and flexible support character.

    Yui (1 Star)

It’s hard to find a better value healer than Yui. Yui’s shards are easy to farm via Hard mode stages, making ascension easy for the healer. She is capable of healing the entire team simultaneously, making her a vital choice for some matchups.

    Lima (1 Star)

While Lima isn’t great for story content, the little llama is a force in the arena. Lima’s late entry into battle is great for setting up some characters, while her physical tankiness and taunt are ridiculously valuable. She is just “good” for now, but will later be one of the best characters in the PVP meta, so she is worth investing in now.

    Miyako (2 Star)

Miyako is an oppressive physical tank in the current meta. Miyako will have moments of invincibility throughout a fight making her difficult to kill, especially when against physical team comps. Her magic defense is lacking, but that’s hardly an issue in the arena when players can choose who they match up against.

    Kuka (2 Star)

“What if Miyako was a magical tank instead?” That’s Kuka. Kuka has a ridiculous magic defense, making her an excellent choice against magic comps. She can taunt and self-heal, making her a valuable asset to any squishy DPS or healer on your team.

    Tamaki (2 Star)

Tamaki is currently the premier magic hunter in Princess Connect. Tamaki can target the enemy with the highest magic power. This means that Tamaki can snipe squishy damage dealers, quickly crippling the enemy team. With a strong healer and two tanks, Tamaki is a force of nature.
