During a quirky event in Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma, you’ll be asked to toss an Onigiri into a mysterious hole with some kind of talking critter inside. After doing so, two baskets appear: Little Basket and Big Basket. Your choice determines what reward you receive. You might be worried about choosing the wrong item, since you can’t have both, despite what Wooly wants. So, which basket should you choose?
Little Basket
If you choose the Little Basket, you’ll receive a piece of Silver and a recipe for Butter Roll. The Silver can be useful for early crafting, but the real prize here is the recipe.
Big Basket
If you go with the Big Basket, you’ll be given Strong Thread and, just like the other option, the recipe for Butter Roll. While Strong Thread is handy for tailoring and upgrades, it’s just as easily obtained elsewhere.
Which One Should You Pick?
It doesn’t matter.
Both Silver and Strong Thread are easy to farm throughout the game, and both baskets give you the Butter Roll recipe: the most valuable part of the event. Unless you have an immediate need for one of the materials, don’t overthink it.
Pick whichever basket makes you smile. You’re getting that Butter Roll Recipe either way.
