Marvelous has opened digital pre-orders for two upcoming titles, Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma and Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar. Both games are slated for release later this year and will launch on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and Windows PC. New trailers for each title debuted this week. Both games will receive a Standard edition, a Digital Deluxe Edition, and a Super Digital Deluxe Edition.
Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma is scheduled to release on June 5, 2025. This new entry in the cozy sim and action RPG series takes players to Azuma, a previously unseen region inspired by the East. Pre-orders are available now via the Nintendo eShop.
Each edition includes varying DLC packs, such as bonding stories for new characters, cosmetic outfit bundles, and additional digital content like an art book and soundtrack. Physical editions are also up for pre-order, including a Limited Edition packed with extras like a plush keychain and a 160-page art book. A “Switch 2 Upgrade Pack” will also be available for players who own the game on Nintendo Switch.
Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar, inspired by the classic DS entry, will launch on August 27, 2025. This updated version introduces expanded visuals, new characters, full voice acting, and quality-of-life improvements while preserving the series’ core farming and relationship mechanics. Players will once again grow crops, tend livestock, and participate in the signature bazaar system unique to this entry.
Digital pre-orders are open for both platforms. The base game is priced at €49.99 for Switch and €59.99 for Switch 2, with Digital Deluxe (€59.98) and Super Digital Deluxe (€69.99) editions offering cosmetic DLC, art books, and soundtracks. DLC bundles can also be purchased separately, including the “Trunk of Transformation” set that adds some costumes and accessories.
Physical editions for both games are available through the Marvelous website and participating retailers. Each includes optional bonus content, such as collectible plushies and soundtracks.
Both games are also set to launch on PC via Steam, with wishlisting available now.
