Cooking Companions, the psychological horror dating sim from Deer Dream Studios, is set to release on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox on April 29, 2025. Originally launched on PC, the game combines cheerful visual novel elements with a darker narrative twist.
Published by Serenity Forge, Cooking Companions allows players to explore the cabin, build relationships, and navigate a branching storyline filled with unsettling decisions. The console debut brings 15 fully animated cutscenes and additional secrets to uncover, alongside full localization in multiple languages.
The PC version of the game will also receive these updates on April 29, with the new cutscenes and language support arriving as a free update.
Serenity Forge has also opened pre-orders for a Premium Physical Edition of Cooking Companions for PlayStation 5. Priced at $39.99, this edition includes a physical copy of the game, an illustrated inner coversheet, a lenticular kitchen conversion card, a glitter sticker sheet, and displayable reversible chipboard standees.
