Riot Games is revealing new cards for the first Call of the Mountain expansion in Legends of Runeterra. Today’s reveals include Leona, a new champion card. Leona utilizes and evolves around the Daybreak mechanic that was announced yesterday, Today’s announcement also reveals 5 additional cards, with 4 of them using Daybreak.

Leona stuns enemies when played first in a round, possibly making the champion a good companion for Yasuo.
Interestingly enough, Leona might not be the best card revealed today. Guiding Touch is a burst card heals an ally or the user’s Nexus by 2. It also allows the player to draw a card. All of this comes at the cheap price of 2 mana points.
Leona and the rest of the Call of the Mountain cards will be available to use when the expansion launches on August 26.
