We got a short chapter of Nyan facing off against Gearsper and Captain Mizuki before a familiar face suddenly joins the fray. With very little to go off, this will be a short review. But hey, no one can say I didn’t do my job.
I’m still not very interested in the lower-tier heroes compared to the S-ranks, but Gearsper did have a cool (if futile) moment that made for a nice couple panels. Plus, the last few pages reintroduce an S-rank hero we haven’t seen in a while and that definitely piqued my interest.
The art by Murata is, as always, fantastic and definitely the best part of the experience for me. But I’d be remiss if I didn’t give ONE his due credit for writing characters I care about (even if I care about others much more) and for always giving even the weaker characters their “hero moment” if for only a brief moment.
Next chapter I really hope we get back to the meatier action with more of the S-rank vs Cadre fights, but as chapters go this one was a fine addition.
