I have a soft spot for the Let’s Sing franchise. The karaoke style games are great for getting a small group of friends together and having a fun time. Players who aren’t afraid of embarrassing themselves will always have a great time belting their heart out. Well, they will if they can get into the playlist.
Anyone who has played Let’s Sing will know what they are getting into here, because it’s the same game that it has always been. The only big difference is the playlist that’s available to players. Let’s Sing 2022 brings in 30 songs with old and new hits. The standouts in this one are Silk Sonic’s megahit Leave The Door Open, Everybody (Backstreet’s Back) by the Backstreet Boys, and even A Whole New World from the Disney film Aladdin. When players are playing songs like these, Let’s Sing 2022 is an absolute blast.
Unfortunately, for my group, the majority of the other songs just didn’t vibe well with us. Last Christmas by Wham! hits at just the right time of year at least. Again, this is a game that lives or dies with how well the players like these songs:

If players don’t have access to USB microphones, they can use the official Let’s Sing app, which works well enough. The software isn’t perfect at detecting every note, but as long as players aren’t too serious, it won’t hurt the experience much. Headsets can also be used, which works exceptionally well at detection.
Players can play through the game’s solo mode and rise in stardom, or play with friends. From Karaoke modes that allow up to four people in the room to sing at the same time to a fun duet mode, Let’s Sing 2022 has something for all group sizes. There is even an 8 player mode that allows for two teams of four to compete.
It would be nice if there were more songs to choose from, but Let’s Sing 2022 can still be a blast to play. There is paid DLC available if players want to expand that way as well. This is another solid entry in the series, even if it doesn’t bring anything new to the table.
