Japanime Games launched Imaria: The Pillars of Power on Kickstarter. Drawing from the 5th Edition rules, this comprehensive collection represents an overhaul of existing content. There are two versions: one adhering to traditional fantasy settings and another with an anime twist, named “Animaria.”

The contents of Imaria: The Pillars of Power are as follows:

    • Subclasses: Offering over 20 subclasses, the game provides two unique choices for each character class.
    • New Classes: Three new classes are introduced: the Renik Knight, Sage, and Psionicist, each contributing fresh dynamics to the gameplay.
    • Setting Lore: A world replete with intricate lore, designed to inspire Game Masters and populate campaign worlds. This rich lore includes godless realms, the interplay of magic and anti-magic, chronomancy, anthropomorphic cultures, technological advancements, and the complex relationships between destiny and fate.
    • New Feats, Magic Items, and Spells: The game enriches character capabilities with distinct feats, items, and the inclusion of sixteen new spells.
    • Factions and Quest Hooks: Players can delve into the politics and storylines within the world, navigating through cosmic warzones, zealous crusades, temporal disturbances, and more.
    • Optional Rules: Customization options are provided to tailor the gaming experience, including an overhauled inspiration system and other enhancements to the rules.
    • Vehicle Builder: The game empowers players to create and customize their airships and other modes of transport.
    • New Monsters: Imaria introduces unique creatures such as the celestial titan meggmok, colossal world whales, and formidable anti-magic constructs.

Marcus isn't good at a lot, but he is an expert at replaying Final Fantasy games despite there being a lot of good stuff out there. He also loves comics, board games, and anime. He thinks Chip Zdarsky is a treasure.
