Image Comics has announced that cartoonist Jackie Morrow’s upcoming graphic novel, Supper Club, will hit shelves in August.
Image Comics gave a brief synopsis in their press release this morning. “Supper Club follows Seaside High seniors Nora, Lili, and Iris. Their differing schedules and mounting extracurriculars inspire the girls to form a secret club where they can hang without sacrificing their future aspirations. Enter Supper Club, the delicious solution to their problems. When life starts to crumble like a cookie under the girls’ feet, they rely on comfort food to hold it together. Can Supper Club endure life’s most challenging recipes without burning to a crisp?”
“For readers who have faced growing pains at any age and need reminding that you can always be yourself—with your friends or in the kitchen. A home-cooked meal is unconditional love,” says writer and artist Morrow.
The Supper Club will be available digitally on Wednesday, August 24 and in bookstores on Tuesday, August 30.
