Japanime Games will celebrate the 10th anniversary of Heart of Crown with the Kickstarter launch of its 2nd Edition on February 6th. The second edition of the deck builder aims to enhance the overall gaming experience through improvements in card text, graphic design, layout, and artwork.
In this iteration, players can expect new cards, including a unique card type called Attendant Maids. These maids are Succession Cards that are added to the Random Market. When purchased, if the player’s Domain is already set, they can immediately place them into their Domain. These cards give extra abilities to the player rather than succession points.
Players will soon have the opportunity to experience the game online through Steam. Japanime Games is working on an online version, and fans can follow the campaign for updates and details on how to access the online demo before pledging their support.
Heart of Crown 2nd Edition provides backers with two versions to choose from – the regular edition and the gold-foil Jubilee Edition. The latter promises an upgraded gaming experience, adding a touch of luxury.
