Team17 Digital and Sassy Chap Games have announced that Date Everything! will be released digitally on June 17, 2025, for PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. A physical edition is also in development and will arrive after the digital launch, though no specific release date has been provided.
Date Everything! is described as a sandbox dating simulator where players use “Dateviator” glasses to engage with tons of unconventional characters. Players can discover different personalities and narrative paths across the game’s setting, from inanimate objects like laundry baskets to the air itself. The game includes a fully interactive 3D overworld that adapts based on the choices players make during their playthrough.
The game features a cast of 100 fully voiced characters, supported by a large roster of notable voice actors. The confirmed cast includes Felicia Day, Ben Starr, Matt Mercer, Laura Bailey, Neil Newbon, Troy Baker, Ashley Burch, and others. Each character comes with unique branching dialogue options that lead to multiple possible endings.
According to the developers, the game contains over 1.2 million words, 70,000 voice lines, and 11,000 hand-drawn images. Players can also expect over four hours of music, with each datable character having their own individual theme.
Sassy Chap Games was founded in 2018 by voice actors Ray Chase, Robbie Daymond, and Max Mittelman. Initially a part-time project, Date Everything! has since expanded to a full-time effort supported by a team of over 50 people. The game’s development caught the attention of Team17, which has taken on publishing responsibilities.
Further details about the game, including updates on the physical edition, are available on the official Date Everything! website. Players interested in following development updates can also follow Sassy Chap Games on Bluesky and Instagram.
