Beast – Shattered Isles‘s crowdfunding campaign on Gamefound will end on October 15. The first expansion for expansion to Studio Midhall’s board game Beast includes new beasts, hunters, maps, contracts, and mechanics.
Beast – Shattered Isles introduces a brand new world, featuring three new formidable Beasts, including the narcissistic Vacker, the thunderous Thalduk, and the corrupt Akkeron. Complementing the Beasts, three new hunters join the fray: Eivind, a versatile Skyhunter; Fara, a reckless Flameblade Huntress; and Valdi, a sinister Alchemist. Additionally, two new maps offer Hidden Paths, accessible only to characters native to the corresponding habitat. Ruins on the map unlock forgotten and potent magic, and Split Actions provide exceptional flexibility. The expansion also adds 4 new Action Cards, an enhanced card drafting system, 13 new Items, 13 new Beastly Talents, and 4 game-changing Contracts, elevating the Beast experience to new heights.
This campaign also features The Great Hunt, a mini-expansion in which players can take on the role of Esmeria, a new huntress, and a beast known as the Feathered King. Backers will also find tiers with acrylic standees, miniatures, minimap screens, and card sleeves, as well as exclusive full-art cards.
