Idea Factory has announced that Azur Lane: Crosswave will release on Playstation 4 and Steam in February 2020. The 3D Action Shooter game based on the mobile game brings many fan-favorite characters to bigger screens, offering a new spin on the franchise.

The main game in the franchise, Azur Lane is a side-scrolling “bullet hell” game that personifies historical battleships and submarines. The game’s mechanics and developer generosity led to it becoming popular internationally. The franchise has recently released an anime adaptation as well.

The mobile game is now retrofitted for the PlayStation 4 and Steam as a cel-shaded, 3D action shooter featuring over 25 characters and 30 support characters. A story mode, challenge mode, phot, and episode mode have all been confirmed to be included in the game.

The Steam version is available for pre-order. A Limited Edition will be available for pre-order on January 9th at Idea Factory’s online store.

Marcus isn't good at a lot, but he is an expert at replaying Final Fantasy games despite there being a lot of good stuff out there. He also loves comics, board games, and anime. He thinks Chip Zdarsky is a treasure.
