Shazam #1
Geoff Johns and Dale Eaglesham are bringing Shazam, back into his own monthly series. Shazam hasn’t had his own series in 20 years, and with Geoff Johns writing, the expectations are going to be high.
Wonder Woman #58
While this isn’t a number one, the new creative team makes Wonder Woman #58 new in our eyes. This is especially so when a great writer like G. Willow Wilson comes on board. It looks like Wilson’s opening arc will focus on Ares and Grail. This issue could be the return to form that Wonder Woman desperately needs.
Uncanny X-Men #1
November will feature the first three issues of X-Men’s new flagship series. For the first 10 issues, Uncanny X-men will be weekly. The event is full of fantastic creators, from writers like Ed Brisson and Kelly Thompson to artist Mahmud Asrar. X-Men books have been inconsistent as of late. Hopefully, this series will make the mutants great once more.
The Vision #1
Last time we saw the Vision, he failed to create a normal life with a normal family. He doesn’t have much left, but this series will focus on him picking up the pieces. Writer Chelsea Cain will be following up Tom King’s Eisner-Award winning run, but she has proven that she is more than capable of living up to the expectations.
Bloodshot Rising Spirit #1
Man, not having Jeff Lemire on Bloodshot is going to take some time to get used to. Bloodshot Rising Spirit will be written by Lonni Nadler and Zac Thomspon, both known for a successful Cable run in 2017. Ken Lashley will be handling art.
Firefly #1
BOOM! Studios now has a hold of Firefly! Greg Pak is writing it! This series will serve as a prequel to the cult tv show, focusing on Mal during the War of Unification.
Archie #700
Archie #700 marks a fresh start for Archie. Nick Spencer and Marguerite Sauvage will be taking the reins from Mark Waid in the next chapter for the dramatic slice of life series. Where will these characters go next?
So, what are you most looking forward to in November?
