The patch for Overwatch’s second anniversary is now live. This year’s anniversary event might be Overwatch’s largest so far, which not only contains new cosmetics, but also the cosmetics from every previous event. Each anniversary box will include at least one anniversary item and has a chance of pulling an item from a previous event. It’s a great opportunity to grab an item that you may have missed recently.
Everyone who logs in during the event will be given a free anniversary box as well as a legendary box that will contain one legendary item that the player does not currently have.
The anniversary event also brings a variety of changes to arcade mode, including a daily rotation of past event modes. There is also a new competitive mode for eight-player Free For All. Finally, Petra has been added to the pool of Deathmatch maps.
